A sociologist in a management school, I live in Oregon where I teach entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon.

My current research focuses on bias in entrepreneurship, although sometimes I separate the two and study either entrepreneurship or bias.  This work has been featured in a number of places, including The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Huffington Post, Salon.com, and a few more.

I also have a trio of kids who are way cuter, and smarter, than me.
